Nathan Prater
PT, DPT
Nathan Prater has been a member of our therapy team since 2019. Nathan graduated as a student-athlete playing football at Charleston Southern University in May 2015. After graduating, he continued to MUSC where he graduated as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in May 2019. Nathan became interested in physical therapy after attending mandated PT after a knee surgery. After observing different settings, he was drawn to the profession by seeing how it is one of few relational health care professions. He enjoys spending more direct one-on-one time with his patients and getting to know them well. Nathan is excited to begin his training in the McKenzie Method this fall 2019.
Nathan originally came to the clinic back when he was completing observation hours while waiting to get accepted into medical school. He appreciates the faith-based environment and the close family feeling of his co-workers at Premier. Nathan and his wife, Christina have a daughter named Madison and a dog named Sadie. He enjoys playing beach volleyball, golf, pick-up basketball, and going exploring on the kayak in his spare time. Nathan cheers for CSU in college football and the Carolina Panthers. We are excited to add Nathan to our team.
