Dr. Patrick Colpitt
PT, DPT, OMT-C
Military parents, so we moved around a lot when I was younger. Most of my childhood and adolescence was spent in New Hampshire after my father retired from the Air Force. I worked as a shoe salesman in high school and then worked for a tree removal company throughout undergraduate. Went to Bob Jones University for a B.S. in Pre-Physical Therapy before attending MUSC for my doctorate in Physical Therapy.
I have 11 years experience working in orthopedic physical therapy.
I have worked at Premier Physical Therapy since I graduated PT school in 2013. I have been trained in McKenzie and Mulligan therapy. I received my certification in orthopedic manual therapy (OMT-C) in 2015.
Here in Premier Physical Therapy, I evaluate, assess, and treat patients.
I love getting patients back to function with household activities and recreational activities. Getting patients to be able to do the small things we all take for granted. I also love getting patients back to sports and activities that they love doing.
I enjoy treating shoulder and knee pain as well as using mechanical diagnostics and treatment for spinal issues.
I enjoy the sense of community and family. I feel like every patient is welcomed by all the staff and therapists and that people really enjoy coming to therapy.
When I am not working, I enjoy working out, playing with my kids, and trying to spend time outdoors. I love hiking and camping when able.

He is professional, patient and accurate. The entire staff is welcoming and professional.
Great team of therapists! My son went from having a growth plate issue in his shoulder to return back to pitching! He has signed to play at Limestone College next Spring! Thanks Jill & Patrick for everything!!
I’ve dealt with chronic pain for the better part of a decade and Premier Physical Therapy was really the only place that helped make my pain more manageable and equip me with tools to feel better in the future. Jill, Nathan, Taylor and Patrick were all amazing to work with and Alexx, Linda and D’Onna are all just consummate professionals. I’m so thankful and grateful for every single one of them and would travel 30 miles each way again and again to see them if I needed to. Highly recommend them all and we’re lucky to have them in the Charleston area.
