Tips from Rob: Computer Ergonomics/Posture
November 2, 2011

We are all guilty of spending lots of time in front of computer screens, but that doesn’t mean our posture should suffer.

Prolonged sitting at a computer with improper posture can result in neck pain and headaches, so it’s important to be mindful of how you’re sitting when you’re working.

You should always try to sit up straight, and avoid having your chin leaning forward. Additionally, your computer screen should be at eye-level, with your elbows bent at 90 degrees when your hands are on the keyboard. Your hips and knees should also be bent at 90 degrees.

Follow these simple tips and avoid those nagging aches and pains.
