Weight Management Therapy
Premier Physical Therapy has recently implemented a weight management program into our existing services! With the AMA recently acknowledging that obesity is the number one preventable cause of death, medically run obesity treatment programs are gathering momentum.
Premier Physical Therapy is committed to inspire, motivate, and invest in the lives of the people in our care. We feel we can best accomplish this mission by developing a unique weight control concept through our facility.
Clients undergo a 12-week program which incorporates supervised exercise sessions with one-on-one nutrition counseling. The benefits are tremendous and clients do very well as the program is overseen by staff physical therapists and athletic trainers. The environment is much more conducive to the patient's success than going to a local gym where often time there isn't any one to encourage them. For individuals with qualifying health conditions, some of the costs of the program may be covered by insurance.
