No matter the sport you play-whether you're a professional or club player or play high school sports-our sports conditioning programs are created to help you improve your strength, power, speed, and flexibility. From sports rehabilitation programs to Premier Pitching Academy and marathon training programs, our physical therapists help you to play better, feel healthier, and reduce time spent away from the field if you're injured.
Sports Conditioning + Strengthening
Designed and managed by Premier Physical Therapy's therapists, this customized sports training program helps athletes of any sport prevent injury or return to the field as soon as possible. Each workout focuses on speed, strength, power, agility, and weight loss if necessary. You'll have full access to our 5,000-square-foot facility, including use of our indoor, heated, saltwater aqua therapy pool to work through soreness and improve flexibility. You'll take a functional exam with a specific goal that must be passed before moving to the next level. Some examples of these sports physical therapy programs include:
- Core strengthening program for back stability and improved performance in any sport
- Speed program
- Vertical jump program
- Upper extremity conditioning programs for baseball, softball, volleyball and swimming
Premier Pitching Academy
Attended by players from the Atlanta Braves, Detroit Tigers, and Texas Rangers, this sports rehabilitation and sports training program, located at our outpatient facility in Charleston, SC, will improve your play and help you protect your arm. Because most players are taught incorrect pitching and throwing techniques, we focus on the mechanics of overhand throwing to reduce injury.
Sessions are 90 minutes and will meet twice a week for 6 weeks.

Golf Conditioning Program
For golfers, core training is especially important to make your body more resistant to back pain and neck injury. This program significantly improves every aspect of your game-however, we can't promise your ball will go straight.
To help you gain an edge in your sport, we'll design specific drills and sports conditioning programs. It's not about how fast you can move, but how explosively you can start and endure. While we can't guarantee you'll win every race you enter, you'll feel like a winner.
Century, Marathon and Triathlon Training
Ideal for those who are ready to start century, triathlon, or marathon training, our strength programs are customized by physical therapists who have experience with these races and who will create a program to get you comfortably to the finish line.
