Sports Strengthening and Conditioning
A medically-designed strength and conditioning program that helps all athletes return to the field. It is created, designed and tested by licensed physical therapists. Each workout is customized for your patient’s individual needs. It focuses on strength, conditioning, power, speed, agility & weight loss. Each client is initially tested with a functional exam; each level of the exam then has a pass or fail goal which must be passed before going on to the next level. This unique testing measures and ensures that each client gets exactly the results they are looking for. Getting people ready for the game of life.

Some examples of these programs include our core strengthening program for back stability and improved sports performance, as well as our speed program, vertical jump program, and upper extremity conditioning programs for throwers (i.e. pitchers, volleyball, swimming, and softball).

 

Premier Pitching Academy
(Baseball/Softball Offseason Conditioning Session)

Premier Physical Therapy is offering a YEAR ROUND TRAINING PROGRAM for all baseball players in the Charleston area! This top level staff will cover how to train you like a pro throughout the winter months, get you ready for next spring and teach you how to take care of your arm throughout the season. The program will cover arm care, core strength, cardio, along with speed and agility to improve your game. This program will improve every level of player from beginner to the advanced player. We combine a medically based and scientifically designed baseball teaching program that focuses on the mechanics of over-hand throwing athletes. Pitching and throwing are usually taught incorrectly, leading to increased injuries, despite improvements in sports medicine.

Sessions are 60 minutes and will meet twice a week for 4 weeks.
This program is for all ages and will group accordingly.

Golf Program
Enhance your golf game enjoyment with a program that will make your swing stronger and your distance longer. Our core program will strengthen and protect your back during your swing.

Jill is a certified spine therapist and finisher of the hardest half Ironman at St. Croix. She has also has completed multiple sprint triathlons, biathlons, half marathons, and an international distance triathlon.
